Shipping Container Buyer Information (General)
Shipping containers are heavy-duty steel units originally manufactured for ocean transport. When repurposed for storage or modification, containers are classified by condition and age.
Unless clearly marked as New / One-Trip, all containers are used. Minor cosmetic wear is normal and expected.
Proper site preparation is required prior to delivery.
What Shipping Containers Are NOT
To avoid misunderstandings, shipping containers:
❌ Are not permanently waterproof for life
❌ Are not cosmetic-perfect unless sold as New / One-Trip
❌ Are not insulated unless expressly modified
❌ Do not include foundations, grading, or site preparation
❌ Are not crane-lifted unless arranged separately in writing
Shipping containers are industrial steel units designed for transport and storage. Cosmetic wear and signs of prior use are normal for used containers and do not affect performance.
Modification Disclaimer
Shipping containers are sold for storage use only unless otherwise stated in writing.
Any modifications or conversions (including offices, homes, or commercial structures) must comply with all applicable:
Local building codes
Zoning regulations

All permits, inspections, engineering approvals, and compliance requirements are the sole responsibility of the buyer.
